Tempered glasses - gehard glas

 
Single tempered glasses, in other words cooked at 650° C of temperature. Mechanical resistance 5 times superior in comparison to a normal glass. In accordance with the UNI EN 12150, UNI 7697 and UNI EN 12600 rules with reference to the security of glasses for decoration purposes. In case of breaking it actually crumbles in harmless tiny fragments.The operations of maintenance and cleaning can be done with extreme simplicity.

Laminated glasses - gelamineerd glas

 
Double glasses. Between the two glasses (1) a thin plastic film (2) is inserted. Transparent and invisible it perfectly sticks to both surfaces. Both surfaces are perfectly smooth. Resistance to breaking in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 12543, UNI 7697 and UNI EN 12600 rules. The plastic film withholds the fragments in case of breaking. The operations of maintenance and cleaning can be done with extreme simplicity.

Double laminated glasses. Between the two extra-clear glasses (1) and two thin plastic films (2) a micronet fabric is inserted (3). Through a sophisticated process a metal layer is applied on the fabric, thus creating a characteristic effect of semi transparency.

The reflections of the light on the surface of the metallic net are provided by using an extra-clear float glass, which allows maximum transparency and high light transmissions, thanks to the low content of iron oxides.

Following the process of hot stratification, the fabric might show minor wave effect, which give the material its characteristic materic and natural look.

A surface that possesses the utmost degree of reflecting power.
Higher scratch resistance compared to conventional mirrors surfaces.
Produced without adding copper and lead to metal layers and protective paints, pursuant to European Directive ROHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances).
Resistance to aging and to aggression from chemical agents, in accordance with regulation EN 1036.

Aluminium

Aluminium is a 100% recyclable metal alloy that can be fully recovered to produce other objects in a cycle that does not influence the ecological balance.
Rimadesio makes use of the extrusion technology to create bearing frames made of aluminium for all its products, thus combining lightness with the utmost solidity and reliability in time.
Rimadesio makes use of several types of aluminium alloys, ranging from EN AW 6060/T6 to EN AW 6005A/T6 F25; the latter ensures exceptional technical performance in terms of resistance to bending and to torsion, and it is used for sliding systems, for tables and for structural elements that are most subject to stress.

Anodised finish conforms to the EN 12373,UNI EN ISO 2360 standards. Abrasion resistance of the anodised finish conforms to the BS 6161-18 standard.
Corrosion resistance of the anodised finish conforms to the ISO 9227 standard.
Powder coating conforms to the EN 12206-1 and EN ISO 2813 standards.
Paint layer detachment resistance conforms to the EN ISO 2409 standard.
Corrosion resistance of the paint finish conforms to the results of the Machu Test and the ISO 9227 standard.
Wood finish with a layer of real wood 0,5 mm thick.
All the products used as finishing are in according to EN 717-2/94 and ENV 717-1/98 rules regarding the emissions of formaldehyde.
